Massage therapy is well known for its relaxation and rejuvenating benefits. Tension, aches and pains fall away and you're left feeling grounded and cared for. Massage also helps to differentiate between pain caused by soft tissue and pain caused by underlying conditions such as arthritis, neuropathy, or a congenital condition. Your pain could be greatly reduced when soft tissue is treated appropriately. Awareness is the great gem of Postural Alignment Therapy. We'll have a look at your posture together and discover how you move. Chances are, you'll be surprised at what you see and feel. The source of your pain could well be the result of a postural imbalance...I see it all the time.
You are the only one who can change your posture; how you move and hold yourself in all that you do. Postural work gives you more control of your body and lessens your dependence on drugs, injections, and can potentially spare you from more invasive measures down the road.
You'll learn immediate adjustments as well as gentle exercises, tailored to your needs. You'll receive written, photo and video instruction for home use. The key to success is consistency with your exercise routine, and I can help you with that.

This is a client I worked with over the course of one year. She had 7 sessions of postural alignment and massage therapy. We also fit in several extra sessions of massage. Her exercise routine evolved over time, which she faithfully did 3-5 times a week. The chronic pain she'd experienced in her left low back for decades was reduced to the occasional twinge. Her neck and hamstring pain were resolved.
